Photos
Administration
- A file will need to be set up within your corporate dropbox for Swyft Mobile Photos.
- The naming convention of the folder must be provided to Swyft at support@swyftmobile.com to set up to allow access from Swyft Mobile.
- Do not set up contact or company level folders within Swyft Mobile Photos that is part of the Swyft Mobile process.
- Each user will need:
- A user name and password for the folder
- Invitation to the folder
- They must accept the invitation to the folder
- Once the contact or company level folders are set up in the dropbox by the application, others can add in other photos that have been taken.
- This could be done through Desktop.
- Those photos will sync and be available on Swyft Mobile.
Swyft Mobile User
- You will need:
- User name and password for dropbox
- Accepted the invitation to the photo folder in dropbox.
- You will need to do this process daily or if you have closed out of Swyft Mobile during the day.
- Select a contact or company
- Select Details
- Select Camera which is on the bar below the contact or company name on the left.
- Check Connect to Dropbox and it will prompt for your user name and password
- Enter both and then submit
- If you have both a company and personal drobox on your device, select the one for the company
- It will then ask to open in "Swyft Mobile"? Select Open and it will return to the place that Connect to Dropbox was first selected.
Taking Photos
- There are several features: Take Picture, Upload and Browse.
- Take the Picture will pop the camera and when done it will have Use Photo in the lower right or Retake in the lower left.
- Select Use Photo and the next step will be Upload.
- Choose the file from your Photo Library and you have the option to rename of the image or upload as is by selecting Upload to Dropbox.
- A message will be received: File Uploaded Successfully!
- Browse will allow the user to view all photos associated with a contact or company on dropbox.
